SECA (Services Camerounais d'Assainissement S.A.) was created in 1974 at the initiative of the HYSACAM Group
Having its Head Office in Douala, SECA has for 47 years collected and transported
hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Active on the Cameroonian market,
SECA works with some public and private bodies in transporting industrial
and hazardous waste, both solid and liquid.
In four (4) decades, SECA's services have evolved into industrial cleaning,
sanitation, vector control (disinfection, pest and rodent control),
phytosanitary treatment and maintenance of green areas.
Creation by the HYSACAM group and launch of the Industrial waste management section
First contracts outside the city of Douala.
Establishment in Yaoundé.
Creation of the vector control and phytosanitary treatment section
Creation of the Industrial cleaning and sanitation section.
Launch of the Limbé branch.
Start of cross-border hazardous waste transfer activities.
Beginning of biological treatment of oil sludge with the opening of a treatment center.
Change of visual identity.
Launch of maintenance activities for green spaces.
Management of ultimate waste storage centers.
Opening of the Nkoteng branch.
Support for decentralized local authorities in the context of vector control.
Creation of a center specializing in the biological treatment of soil polluted with hydrocarbons in Edéa.
Company certification to ISO 900 version 2015.
Launch of the kribi agency. 45th anniversary of the company.
Today, SECA is led by Mrs Arlette TCHAPOYA. The company currently has a workforce of 200 employees of various trainings and is established in the ten regions of Cameroon. It has more than 365 companies in its portfolio and an average annual turnover of two billion CFA Francs.
